The U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Department of State Office of Munitions Control regulate our products. Export of restraining equipment from the United States without a valid export permit issued by the U.S. Department of State, Office of Defense Trade Controls is strictly prohibited.
The ARI family of restraining devices requires an export license issued by the U.S. Government. This process takes ARI four to six weeks to obtain approval from various agencies.
The information required for the export license and shipping includes:
- Name of the company/agency
- Contact person and phone number
- Shipping address
- The intended end use of the product
- The anticipated quantity you expect to purchase within two years
Each export license is approved for a two-year period. If any of the above information changes or the requested quantity is exceeded during that two-year period, a new export license is required.
